    E. L. Miller, Aged Oran Resident, Died Wednesday

    Edward Lawrence Miller died at his home in Oran, Wednesday of last week following an illness of pneumonia. Mr. Miller, retired farmer, was age 81 years, Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Caroline Miller, five daughters, Mrs. Ernst Hanselman and Miss Marie A Miller, Oran, Sister Emanuel , Joliet, Ill., Sister Michael, Columbus, Ohio, and Sister Virgil, Chicago, Ill. , two sons Joe Miller and Andrew Milller, who is with the armed forces, one brother, Frank Miller, of Oran, one-half brother Louis Burger of St. Louis, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Guardian Angel church at Oran at 9 o'clock Saturday morning with Rev H T Macke in charge of the rites. Burial was in the new cemetery.

    The family wishes to express its heartfelt thanks to its many relatives, friends and kind neighbors who helped so graciously during the time of sadness, at the time of the death of their husband and father. We also wish to thank those who gave the beautiful floral offerings. Wife, Caroline; sons Joseph and Andrew; daughters Loretta Hanselman, Marie A Miller; Sister M. Emmanuel; Sister M Michael; Sister M. Virgil; Brothers Frank Miller, Louis Burger---the Edward L. Miller Family
