Marie Antoinette Miller
1894 - 1990 

Marie A Miller,  the third daughter and third child of Edward & Caroline Kielhoefner Miller. She was their first to follow her Aunts into the Fransican Order of the Mary Immaculate, Joliet, Illinois. She professed her vows Aug 12, 1913 and took the name Sister M. Laurence. She received dispensation on Nov 4, 1942 to take care of her ailing parents, When Poppa was dying she made a death bed promise to take care of the farm and her two brothers.  WWll was in progress. She kept her promise! She taught school in Oran and was very devoted. She lived to age 96, passing away Feb 20, 1990.  The Reverend Norman Varone officiated and burial was at Guardian Angel Cemetery Pall bearers were: Robert Hentz, Harold Seitman, Kirby Hahn, Kurt Hentz, Kenny Pobst, and Bill Carroll.
