Born:Sept 4, 1892 Died:Oct 21, 1990 MOLLIE M BOSWELL PATE Oct 24, 1990 Southeast Missourian Mollie M Pate Cape-Girardeau-Funeral service for Mrs. Mollie M Pate of Cape Girardeau, Formerly of Scott City, will be held at 11 am Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Jimmie Burroughs will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 am Thursday. Mrs. Pate , 98 years old, died Sunday Oct 21, 1990 at Cape LaCroix . She was born Sept 4, 1892 at Holcomb, daughter of Mr & Mrs. Napoleon B Boswell. She married Frank Harrison White in 1912, George Cruse in 1920 and Rome Pate in 1938. Pate died May 9, 1980. Mrs. Pate was a member of Illmo Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Boswell White of Pamona, Calif. Two grandchildren, Sharon White of Atlanta, GA, and Boswell Scott of Bartlett, TN and Five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Grayson, three sisters & four brothers. Dau of Napoleon Boswell & Sarah Elizabeth Dye Born in Holcomb Mo Taken at Lightner Cemetery She 1st married Frank White in Pemiscott Co and had two children Francis White and Boswell White. 2nd She married George Cruse and lived in Butler Co Mo Ashhill ca 1930 He died and later she married 3rd to Rome Pate, they later Divorced, but she retained the Pate name .
