SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Amanda Metz Pfefferkorn, 95, formerly of Chaffee, MO., died Dec. 23, 1991, at the San Francisco Community Convalescent Hospital. Born July 8, 1896, at Oran, MO. daughter of the late William and Louisa Klipfel Metz, she was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Chaffee, MO. On Nov. 23, 1921, at St. Louis, Mo., she married Otto T. Pfefferkorn, who preceded her in death on April 8, 1970. Survivors include her granddaughter, Laura A. Keefer of Framingham, Mass. She was preceded in death by one grandson, William Van; two sons, James W. Pfefferkorn and Robert L. Pfefferkorn; one brother, William Metz, Jr.; and one sister, Mary Metz Tenkhoff. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church at Chaffee, MO. Burial will follow at the Chaffee Cemetery, under the direction of Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Pratt and Ray Anderson of San Francisco, Calif.
