    Bertha Burlison Rapp - 1898 - 1964
    Bertha Burlison Rapp
    was born March 31, 1898 in Stoddard County, MO, passed away June 10, 1964 in Perkins, MO., at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 9 days.

    She was the daughter of the late J.R. and Mary McCulley Lee.

    She was united in marriage Feb. 20, 1916 to Arthur Burlison, he preceded her in death July 4, 1953, to this union three children were born, they are:
                Mrs. Tom Smith, Perkins, Mo.
                Herschel Burlison, Elkhart, Ind.
                Hoover Burlison, St. Louis, Mo.
    Also surviving are 7 grandchildren.

    She was later married to Fred  Rapp, he preceded her in death May 6, 1961.

    Mrs. Rapp also leaves to mourn her passing 6 step children,
            Three brothers:
                Jess Lee, Bloomfield, Mo.
                Chester Lee, Advance, Mo.
                Jimmy Lee, Illmo, Mo.
        Three sisters:
                Mrs. Walter Kittles, Advance, Mo.
               Mrs. Clyde Peck, Advance, Mo.
                Mrs. Geo Friedrich, Advance, Mo.
    and a host of other relatives and friends.


NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
