    Birdie Bell Reams - 1890 - 1966
    Birdie Bell Reams
    was born April 19, 1890, passed away at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 10 days.  Mrs. Reams was the daughter of the late Charles and Maggie St. Cin. 

    She was united in marriage to Levi Reams and to this union was born one son Charles who survives.  Also surviving are 1 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    She also leaves two sisters Mrs. Wm. Elfrank from Perkins, Mo. and Mrs. Monie Vanderford from Brinkley, Arkansas and one half-sister Mrs. Mary St. Cin of Rhodondo Beach, California; 2 brothers Lee of Neelyville and Herbert of Charleston; also two half brothers Paul of Essex and Raymond of Corning, Arkansas; one step-sister Clara Shoemaker of Perkins and 2 step-brothers Orville Barker of Perkins and Wm. Phillips of Cape Girardeau.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.  She was a member of the Perkins Missionary Baptist Church.


NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
