    Charles H. Robison
    , 80 years old of Perkins, died in a Poplar Bluff Hospital.

    He was born June 14, 1890 in Benton, Illinois.  On March 30, 1918, he was married to the former Miss Audrey Hargraves.  She preceded him in death.

    He is survived by a son Charles Robison, Flint, Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Retta Beard, Perkins; two brothers C. H. Robison, Poplar Bluff and Dewey Robison, Cape Girardeau; three sisters Mrs. Cora Bess of Clay City, Indiana, Mrs. Marie Fowler of Advance, and Mrs. Reola Strong of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Arrangements were handled by Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.   Funeral services were held in the Perkins Baptist Church where Mr. Robison was a member.  The Rev. W. S. Bailey and the Rev. Homer Campbell officiated, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.




NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
