James Thurbert Senciboy - 1874 - 1971 He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Oran. He was born March 4, 1874 in Saco. In 1894, he was married to the former Miss Mary Evelyn Spain, who preceded him in death on May 31, 1969. Mr. Senciboy is survived by three sons George Senciboy, Chaffee, Charley Senciboy, Swinton, and Harold Senciboy, Painton; three daughters Mrs. Lora Brewington and Mrs. Bessie Lane both of Bridgeton, NJ and Mrs. Ola Kadanac, St. Louis; a half brother Fred Berry, Piedmont; three half sisters, Mrs. Anne Kieffe and Mrs. Della Samples, both of Fredericktown and Mrs. Gillie Kemp, Annapolis, 25 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by Bisplinghoff Funeral Home in Chaffee. Rev. W. S. Bailey officiated at funeral services. NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
