Riley Clifford Simmons - 1912 - 1963 Mr. Simmons had never been married. He worked at various places including Perkins, Advance and Bell City. He is survived by three brothers, Raymond Simmons of Oran, Mo., Osrow Simmons of East St. Louis, Illinois, and Elmer Simmons, Matthews, Mo.; five sisters Mrs. Otto Brown, Delta, Mo., Mrs. Limeul Stacy, Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Clara Wilson of Chaffee, Mo., Mrs. Clarence East, of Lake City, Arkansas and Mrs. Leo Perkinson of Jerseyville, Illinois, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
