KELSO – Herman Emil Stubenrauch, 76, died at 4:30 p.m., Jan 20, 1999, at his home. Born June 25, 1922, in Oran, son of the late Emil and Bertha Metz Stubenrauch, he was a parts manager for Scism Motors, a U..S. Army veteran of World War II and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. On Sept. 20, 1947, in Chaffee, he married Tommie Harmon who survives of the home. Other survivors include: one son, Glenn Stubenrauch of Kelso; one daughter, Carol Ann Gates of Brockwell, Ark.; one sister, Stella Graviett of Oran, and four grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where a rosary at 7 p.m. will be followed by Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:15 p.m. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery.
