Maggie May Turner

This lady was the beloved wife of Benjamin Turner, and was esteemed and loved by all who knew her. After a short illness she passed away into the Great Beyond where death and parting are unknown and where all tears are wiped away. Deceased was in the prime of life, with four bright little children growing up around her knee. These will so much miss and need a mother's loving care and wise council. The hearts of all our people go out in deepest sympathy to the motherless ones and to the bereaved husband. The funeral was in charge of the Ben Hur Lodge of which she had long been a devoted and faithful member. Rev. Ward of the Baptist church preached the funeral sermon in a felling and impressive manner. Interment was made in U. P. Cemetery in the presence of a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives.
