ORAN – Juanita B. Vogel, 85, died at 10:30 p.m. Oct 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.  Born April 13, 1911 at Bell City, daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Mary Ollie Harris Riley, she retired as owner and operator of Vogel Bottle Gas and Appliance at Oran. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, St. Ann Sodality, Knights of Columbus Ettes Council 4311 and Oran Senior Citizens.  On Jan 14, 1932, she married Francis Vogel, who preceded her in death of Aug 1, 1975.   Survivors include: one son, Glenn Vogel of Oran; one daughter, Rosemary Bushko of Jefferson City; one brother: Claude Riley of Clinton, S.C.; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  One sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where a parish rosary at 7 p.m. will be followed by a Knights of Columbus prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church with the Rev. Lewis Hejra officiating.   Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Jerome Diebold, Don Kiefer, Gene Hanselman, Charlie Urhahn, Francis Urhahn and Kirby Hahn.
