    Ann Wagner
    , 55, died in Sikeston Convalescent Center.  She was born June 11, 1919 in Crosby, Minnesota.

    On September 22, 1938, she married Jack Wagner who survives.

    She was a licensed practical nurse for 11 years and was employed at Bertrand Retirement Home until May when she retired due to ill health.

    Other survivors include one son Jim Wagner in the Army stationed in Alaska; two sisters Mrs. Mamie Layton of Crosby and Mrs. Viola Burns of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother Irvin Kepic of Iron Mountain, Michigan, and four grandchildren.

    Arrangements were handled by Nunnellee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, services held in First Baptist Church in Blodgett with Rev. A. B. Ledbetter officiating; burial in Blodgett Cemetery.


NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
