    Rosetta M. Wagoner
    was born in Graves County, Kentucky, September 16, 1875, the daughter of Leroy and Sarah Jane Williams Crowley.  Following her marriage in October, 1896, to W. W. Wagoner they moved to Blodgett in 1916, where she resided the remainder of her life.  Her husband preceded her in death on April 3, 1952.  During the time of her residence in Blodgett she was a member of the Blodgett Baptist Church, where she took an active part in the affairs of this church. 

    She is survived by six sons:
        Roy of Farmington, Mo., Raymond, Burrel, and Jack all of Blodgett, Chester of Sikeston and Rev. Herman L. Wagoner of Chaffee, Missouri.  She is also survived by a daughter Mrs. Daisy Holder of Pontiac, Michigan, 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.   Mrs. Wagoner departed this life on Tuesday evening, April 14, 1959, at the residence of her son in Sikeston, where she had been taken for care after becoming ill that afternoon.  At the time of her death she was 83 years, 6 months and 28 days of age.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.


NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
