    Noah Adam Warner - 1913 - 1962
    Noah Adam Warner
    , a son of the late Andrew and Lenora Warner, was born May 19, 1913 at Como, Missouri, passed away suddenly Saturday night at Gideon, Mo., where he had been visiting relatives the past three weeks, at the age of 49 years, 5 months, and 8 days.

    While a small child, his parents moved to Scott County, lived at Perkins a few years and then moved to the Oran community.

    In early life, Mr. Warner united with the Baptist Church.

    Mr. Warner is survived by one brother, Norvel Warner, of Pontiac, Michigan, one half brother, Calvin Carpenter of Pontiac, Michigan; three sisters Mrs. Inez Baker of Bryon, Michigan, Ms. Maggie Shelton and Mrs. Daisy Williams of Oran, Mo; numerous other relatives and a large host of friends.


NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
