- Pleasant Valley Cemetery
- In May,
I went to Scott county and found the cemetery that was once attached to the
church where my gg grandfather, Thomas Malcolm Boardman, was the pastor.
It's listed as the boardman Chapel Cemetery in numerous obituaries I found
in the Sikeston Herald, but it turns out the legal name for this cemetery is
the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
It's located south of Blodgett and east of
I-55 at the intersection of B J Drive and a county road numbered as 529.
The
only way I could get it to come up on Mapquest was to search for Jaime Lynn
Road, which is NE of the cemetery.
