Camp's Projects and Activities
Each
year, the Grant Camp seeks out and restores Civil War markers, gravesites
and memorials, and monuments to the Grand Army of the Republic. To gain
a better understanding of the depth of camp activities, some of the highlights
are presented in this camp “scrapbook”. In addition to the camp projects,
camp members also participate in Lincoln Death Day and Memorial Day ceremonies,
work with local Boy Scout troops and provide presentations to schools
and the general public on the Civil War and its soldiers. The following
