Georgia Clark Photo Collection

Young ladies at the St. Louis Riverfront circa early 1900's.  From left to right: Elizabeth "Lizzie" Floyd, Rose Floyd Finnegan (Georgia Clark's great grandmother), and Mary Floyd. ("Mary Floyd arrived in US from Ireland in 1895, so picture is after that time but probably early 1900s.")

Probably a school photograph, dating 1904-1908. Robert Stephan Finnegan (Georgia's granduncle), born 1889,  is on the right in the second row. "In 1910 Robert worked for the railroad and in 1911 he hired into the fire department.  The family lived on Rutger in 1900 and on Dillon St. in 1910".

Class of girls at Madison Elementary School, circa 1918. "The school was located at 1118 S. 7th St. , St. Louis. ...Ida Finnegan (Georgia Clark's Aunt), is seated in the first row, third from the left." School identified by Sharon A. Huffman of the St. Louis Public Schools Records Center. Photo taken by taken by H & F Bazin, Photographers, 1200 S. Broadway, "French Market", Cor. Convent St., St.Louis, MO.

"My mother worked for Ralston Purina Co. for 16 years.  I think this photo is from there or else possibly a group from her church-SS Mary and Joseph.  But I am more inclined to think it is from her time at RP.  My
mother (Estelle Finnegan) is the third from left in front row.  Since she graduated in June of 1927, I think the picture is probably late 1920s or early 1930s."--Georgia Clark.
