George
Arthur Clary (middle row, 2nd from left in above picture*) was born August 30,
1893 in Clinton, Henry County Missouri. He was the 9th child of William
Rutherford Clary and Sarah Elizabeth Sims. When George was about 9 years
old his family moved to Cando, ND where they farmed for 2 years. About
1904 they settled in Wenatchee, Chelan Co, Washington, where George finished
high school. After serving his county in WWI, George married Lela (last
name unknown) probably in Wenatchee. They had 2 daughters, Lavern and
Betty. Sometime after 1930, George and his family moved to Los Angeles,
CA. He died January 24, 1954 in Los Angeles. (* Note: At the present time
