John Britton Coleman born March 16, 1897 at Cottonwood Point, Pemiscot Co., Missouri, to George W. Coleman and Elizabeth Holland. One brother, Clay W. Coleman and one sister, Lucy E. Coleman. Coleman enlisted in the Army, completed training but the war ended before he was shipped overseas. After the war, John Britton Coleman moved away and lost touch with the rest of his family.
