Early Woodland Artifacts of St. Louis County

Dickson Points from the Early Woodland tradition. 1000 B.C.-500 B.C. All the above were found in Ferguson, north St. Louis County. The pink blade at left, found  by James H. Williams, is so sharp that it could easily slice a finger.. Blade in center shows heavy use as a knife. (It was found by Don McKinnis.) Brown point on right found by Scott K. Williams.
