Circa 1910, Gus Nolte with "Dan" his favorite horse. He delivered Texaco fuel by horse drawn wagon.

Circa 1916, Gus Nolte made Texaco deliveries in a truck. Gus worked for Texaco until his death in 1939.
These pictures are from the Brueckner, Nolte,
Schaller, Spraul, Yeckel families who emigrated to St. Louis from Germany
between the 1860 to 1891. They settled in the neighborhoods around
