- NOTE: The spelling of the name is actually Millstead, but according to the records it was Milstead. I do know that this is William E. Millstead (born 1918) and his sister Marie, they went to live with Odena Kern Millstead's father (that is Norman Kern). Also, Henry Melvin is actually James Henry Melvin Millstead. Mary Millstead was his Dads (James Henry Millstead) sister.
