"Separate funeral services will be held for two brothers, one from Cape
Girardeau, the other from Advance, who died on Sunday when the gasoline
transport truck in which they were riding plunged into a ravine near Poplar
Bluff and burst into flames.
- The service for William Ray Sissum, 25, Glenwood
Mobile Home Park, Cape Girardeau, will be conducted from the Farnsworth Funeral
Home at Tamms, Ill., but arrangements are incomplete.
- The services for Kenneth
Gene Sissum
of Advance
will be held at 2 on Wednesday afternoon at Morgan
Funeral Home there.
The Rev. Claytee Harness, pastor of the First Baptist
Church in Advance, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Memorial Park,
Advance.
William Ray Sissum was born September 23, 1947, and was married to
Miss Diana Gail Bains of Tamms on February 25, 1972.
Surviving: his wife;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lester Sissum, Puxico;
brothers, David and
Michael Sissum, Puxico;
sisters, Miss Linda Sissum, Puxico,
Mrs. Ronald Irwin,
Lutesville,
and
Mrs. Frank Dunn, Scott City;
Maternal grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Rockley (Rackley), Bloomfield.
Kenneth Gene Sissum was born
January 11, 1942, in Russellville, Arkansas.
He and Miss Judith A. Chailland
were married on May 1, 1966.
He was a veteran of the war in Vietnam.
Surviving: with his brothers, sisters and grandparents, are his wife
and
daughter, Kimberly Jean Sissum.
Friends may call at eh Morgan Funeral Home
after 6 tonight."
