He is buried at Gravel Hill Cemetery. He was married first to Lucille E. BLACK, date unknown. Nathan appears on the 1910 census of Stoddard Co., in the Duck Creek township, with 4 of his children. It shows he is a widow, but his wife was still living at that time. On the 1920 census he was enumerated with his second wife Laura and all of the children are gone. Caver, Jr. EMAIL: lecaverjr@aol.com SURNAMES: FARRIS QRYTEXT: I am trying to locate any information on the ancestry of Thomas Logan FARRIS, Jr. who was born in 1858 in Sikeston, ScottCounty, Missouri. It is assumed that since Thomas was a "Junior" that his father would have been named,Thomas Logan Farris,Sr. However, it has not yet been determined which Thomas L. Farris was the father of our patriach. We know from Thomas Logan Farris' death certificate that his father was from Tennessee. Thomas Logan FARRIS' obituary also stated he left Sikeston, MO, and later lived in Dudley (Stoddard County) to the west. He was occupied pimarily as a farmer during his lifetime. His son, Rufus, recounted also that his father was a carpenter and a cooper as well. Thomas married Mary Elizabeth Hudson, the daughter of John Richard Hudson and Elizabeth "tiny" Cobb(of Chippewas descent), exact date unknown. Mary was born on March 21, 1865 in Missouri. She grew up in Oregon County,Missouri to west of Doniphan.

Sarah Agnes England(See later). (6) William, b. December 15, 1894. (7) Mollie,b. August 17, 1895; ......m. Charles Farmer. ...... Issue: ......(A) Doyle ......(B) Earl ......(C) Dail("Browny") (8) Martha, b. May 15, 1897; ......m. Oscar Goucher (See Later) (9) Eva,b. December 20, 1899. (10) Charles Wilford ("Jack"), ......b. Mary died on November 17th, 1938 in Maynard, Arkansas. Thomas died on January 30th, 1947 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri. Both were buried in the Siloam Cemetery in Middlebrook, Arkansas.
