confusion. Speculation that Marie could have married twice - Theresa Bernard
child of first marriage? Thereas listed in mother's estate papers as is Pierre
Pallard. A Alex Chancillier is listed in Marie Louis Larouque's estate papers
- not listed in Marie Louise's papers. Could be Oliver Alex - or another
child.

SETTLED IN ST CHARLES COUNTY MISSOURI IN 1796 ON THE PERUQUE CREEK
Mrs. Robbin's records state two marriages - uncertain which children belong to
which marriage - have placed them all with first wife for the present.
Houck: Christopher Sommalt or Zumalt SR, a German, and Revolutionary soldier in
John Bowman's VA Regiment; here in 1799, established a mill. He seems to have
brought a number of other
settlers with him, as other petitioners said they belong to his family. His
sons, Peter and Christopher, JR, also located on this stream in 1799. (Perruque,
St. Charles County).
Houck Vol. iii pg 85 - Christopher (Stoffle) Zumwalt (Soumwalt) was under the
command of Colonel John Bowman in 1778 in Revolutionary War.
Last Will dated 28 Jan 1811, presented to probate 13 Feb 1811. CErtificate #54
issued 12-22-1808 on land claimed and issued to Christopher on Perque
watercourse 550 arpents.
Received one cow in father's will - this could be a daughter-in-law, married
to Peter - questioned by researchers if she is a daughter.

1805 Tax List lists Jacob Zumwalt 3 in family, 3 horses, 3 neat cattle, $1.80
tax which is probably Jacob, son of John and Elizabeth Conrad.
1837 Tax List 31 acres original claimant Timothy Kibbey, St. Charles County -
listing probably Jacob, son of John and Elizabeth Conrad. Tombstone found in
shed in Callaway County.
