James Carmichael

Came to MO in 1833.
Carmichael History by Mattie Bess Ryland, written in 1930's; located in
Grainger Co, TN in 1810 TN census; Page 186 "Descendants of Isaac Barton"
James, Elizabeth, sons and married daughter moved to Johnson Co, MO 1832,
settled near Centerview. James was a surveyor.
1850 Jackson Twp, Johnson Co, MO census pg 69, Dwelling 861; living with
Elizabeth and son Pleasant and family.
