David purchased land in May 1789 on Cedar Creek, Hawkins Co; 1792 lands on one
side of the rad were placed in newly formed Jefferson Co; 1796 remaining went
to newlyformed Grainger Co; Deed Book I; Hawkins Co, TN; Sale of land Dec 29,
1801 ".. to bargain and sell ... land & tenement ... which I posses at this
time within the bounds of Greene County"; records stated child #4 born in
Greene Co; therefore first three children also listed as such rather than "of
TN" ; Left for MO 1801 with Wm, Joseph, Richard Murphy and settled North of
Farmington.


Rachel Jones

Migrated to Missouri in 1801 (Farmington) and remained there.
