Family sources stated that George and Polly traveled prior to the William
Barton family to Johnson Co, MO Which was 1839, by two or three years. George
sold his land in MO after Polly's death and returned to Jefferson Co, TN with
John Tate and Harriet. George lived on farm at Panther Springs, near
Morristown, TN until father's death in 1851.
