Came ot Chattanooga as a bride in 1876. Lived in the Barton Home until 1882;
moved to North Chattanooga. Activein the First Presbyterian Church with her
husband. Later moved to Knoxville, Chicago and then Memphis when the Judge was
serving in various positions.

McKinney Barton, her uncle. Active in Church work and other service, community
organizations.

Her mother died one month after her birth; was taken to live with her mother's
sister, Rex Greene Todd in Ocala, FL. She joined her family in TN at age of
