BRYAN AND ROSE: PP 195-196 PIONEER FAMILIES OF MISSOURI
!WIECHENS AND GEERLING P 116 CEMETERIES OF ST CHARLES CO MO VOL 5
Records of Nita Z. Robbin - 5 unidentified children.
Prob. Vol. 1 #82 chose Wm. Cashow guardian; orphan over
14 years of age. 1837 Tax list 348 acres original claimant John McMickle; 66
acres o.c. Timothy Kibbey. "He moved from St. Charles Co to Nathan Boone
settlement in Polk Co, sold his property in Polk Co in 1849-1850 and
disappeared. We are very eager to learn what became of William & Lavina
Zumwalt and their 5 children, names unknown. He is the only child of John
Zumwlat of whom we have little record. The family have not been traced after
they moved to Polk Co about 1841-1842 and sold their land in Polk Co 1849-1850
to Thos. Henson. He was once confused with William, son of Andrew 3, Jacob 2
by Geo. R. Zumwalt of Colusa, CA." That William married Sarah Randall. This
William listed in 1840 census St. Charles. Some of this branch of John D.
Family were in Franklin Co prior to 1837.
