Funeral services for Mary Rogers Robinson, 90, 1804 Cotton St., Corinth, were held Sunday at the First Pentecostal Church. Services were conducted jointly by the Revs. A.D. Duncan and Cecil Bennett, and George Coleman, Sr. Interment was in the Tippah Shiloh Church. Coleman Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Robinson was the widow of Noah J. Robinson. Born in Tippah County she died at the Tippah Co. Hospital, Ripley, Sept. 3. She was a member of the Corinth Pentecostal Church.
She leaves 6 sons, Lawrence Robinson, Nashville; Robert Robinson, Johnny Robinson, both of Memphis; Victor Robinson, Corinth; Gaston Robinson, Raleigh, MS; Millard Robinson, Morton, MS; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ed Hopper, Corinth; Mrs. Eula Mae Davis, Ripley; 37 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren

STARKVILLE-Elvin Henry "Chick" Stovall, 68, a retired safety engineer at Mississippi State University, died Friday night at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Welch Funeral Home with burial in Oktibbeha Memorial Gardens. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Justine Knowles Stovall; his mother, Mrs. Louis Stovall of Memphis; a son, Michael H. Stovall of Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Doyle of Auburn, NY, and a brother, James Stovall of Oakland.

CORINTH-Services for Rufe Lee Smith, 50, district manager of Red Ace Petroleum Co., will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Oak Hill Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. McPeters Mortuary has charge. Mr. Smith died at 1:10 a.m. yesterday at Magnolia Hospital after a short illness. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nadine Smith; 2 sons, Steve Lee Smith and William Paul Smith, both of Corinth; 2 daughters, Miss Doria Mae Smith and Miss Clara Smith, both of Corinth; 2 brothers, William H. Smith of Gary, Indiana; and James H. Smith of Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Waldrop of Corinth.

FLORENCE, ALABAMA-Mark Weaver, grandson of Cleo Martin of Iuka, died Thursday, April 14, 1994, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama. He was 40.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services.

CORINTH-Alan H. Mears, 59, died at his home on Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995. He was born May 26, 1935 in Norris City, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; 4 children, Bruce Mears, Brad Mears and Julie Mears, all of Peoria, IL, and Janet Jones of Owensboro, KY; 1 stepson, David Bowers of Pataskala, OH; his mother, Irene Mears of El Dorado, IL; 6 grandchildren; 1 brother, Jim Mears of Esmond, IL; 1 sister, Mae Nell White of Harrisburg, IL. His father, Sylvester Mears, preceded him in death.
Mr. Mears was employed at Caterpillar for 40 years and retired July 1, 1993. Prior to retirement, he was plant manager of Caterpillar's Corinth Remanufacturing Facility. Before coming to Corinth in 1982, he worked in the Peoria, IL area as well as Bettendorf, Iowa.
He was a member of Corinth Rotary and Corinth's Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid golfer.
Visitation will be at Corinthian Funeral Home beginning at 5 tonight, Monday, Jan. 9, 1995. A service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to interment at Henry Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles White, Paul Diebel, Mark Jones, Bruce Mears, Brad Mears, David Bowers and Jim Mears.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Superior Home Health & Hospice, 611 Alcorn Drive, Corinth, MS 38834

CORINTH-Funeral services for Everette Norris, 72, were held at 1 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.
He died Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a World War II Army veteran and an auto worker.
Survivors include 6 daughters, Linda Sellers and Alice Wallace, both of Corinth, Fay Norris of IL, Lona Huff and Daisy Lou Breems, both of Iowa, Sue Ellen Kumba of Indiana; 1 son, Joseph A. Walker, Jr. of IL; 1 brother, Cleo Norris of Yazoo; 2 sisters, Dorothy Brumburg of Louisiana and Hilda Huff of Vicksburg; 55 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.

CORINTH-Funeral services for Ruby Darwin, 74, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Avant officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
She died Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, at University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.T. Darwin on Jan. 30, 1992.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Shelby Jean Phillips of Birmingham; 3 sons, Larry Darwin of Corinth, Arthur Lee Darwin of Florence, AL and Dale Darwin of Weogufka, AL; 2 sisters, Mary Trantham and Beulah Crum, both of Corinth; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Anderson, Lee Mills, Odis Lee Huff, Ben Avant, Ivy Evans and Harold Mitchell.

RIENZI-Funeral services for Harold Denzie Ballard, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Hinkle Baptist Church with the Rev. Excail Burleson officiating. Burial will be in Hinkle Cemetery.
He died Sunday, Jan. 8, 1995, at his residence. He was a member of Hinkle Baptist Church and retired from Intex. A disabled Army veteran, he was a member of the V.F. W. and American Legion.
Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by one son, Tony Ballard, one grandson, Andy Rogers, and his parents, William and Ollie Ballard.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Ballard of Rienzi; 3 sons, both of Rienzi, Ricky Ballard of Corinth; 4 daughters, Trudys Pittman of Columbus, Connie Bishop of Corinth, Kay Rogers and Teresa Bowling, both of Rienzi; 2 brothers, Bester Ballard of Rienzi and Stanley Ballard of Corinth; 3 sisters, Thelma Hardin of Corinth, Audrey Rinehart and Joyce Huggins, both of Rienzi; his mother-in-law, Lovie Rinehart of Rienzi; 16 grandchildren and 2 step-grandaughters.
Pallbearers will be Marty Rinehart, Bruce Rinehart, David Rinehart, Charles Ballard, David Mayo and Neal Hardin.
The body will be placed in the church two hours prior to services. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
