Quite a bold robbery was committed here last week. Sneak thieves entered the residence of Mr. J.H. Epperson, who was absent from home and stole two feather beds and some small articles. No clue to the perpetrators, although Mayor Formby has walked 3,000 miles looking for them.

Died near Old Danville, this county, Sunday the 7th instantly, Sherrod M. White, aged 71 years. Mr. White was one among the first settlers of the Old Danville neighborhood, moving there from Tennessee about the year 1840. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. He leaves one son and five daughters and a large number of friends to mourn his death.
