M/M John H. Phillips of Aberdeen, M/M Robert Lambert of Pocahontas, were weekend guests in the home of M/M John Brooks.
M/M J.C. Hodum and Benny, accompanied by M/M Gaston Hodum of Chicago, spent one day last week fishing in the Montgomery Stock Pond in Tippah County.
Mrs. Dessie Null underwent major surgery at the Corinth Hospital last week and is reported to be doing nicely.
M/M Thurman Wilbanks and Martha Ellen of Memphis are spending a few days as guests of M/M Grover Hodum and family.
Mrs. Russell Glidewell and son of Pocahontas, Scally Mathis of Memphis visited M/M Gent Mathis recently.
M/M Harold Bright and son of Kossuth, M/M J.P. Hodum and family of Memphis visited F.D.? Hodum and sons, David, Dale and Danny of Camp Ground Community recently.
Several from this community are attending revival services at Camp Ground and County Line this week.
M/M Grover Hodum and family, M/M Gaston Hodum enjoyed an outing at the Overton Park Zoo Sunday.
Mrs. Ellen Garrett is spending this week as guest of Mrs. Albia Mullins and Mrs. Bess Mathis and children and attending the revival at County Line Baptist Church.
Sympathy is extended M/M Marshall Hooper in the tragic death of their two small sons near their home in Louisiana Sunday, Mrs. Johnnie Bass is a sister of Mrs. Hopper, Mrs. Ossie Mathis is an aunt. Mrs. Bass went to Louisiana to be with the Hoppers and attend funeral services for the children.
M/M Louise Burrow and William of Goosepond were recent visitors in the home of M/M Lester Greene.
M/M Arthur Mathis and children, Barbara Sue and Randy of Memphis were weekend guests of M/M Ottie Mathis, Onedia and Johnnie.
Clarence Roten has returned to Aurora, Ill. after spending the weekend at his home here.
M/M Monroe Hodum and Gale visited M/M Rex Wilbanks of Pocahontas Saturday night.
Mrs. Jessie Hodum, Peggy and Mrs. Plima Wilbanks visited Mrs. Mat Wilbanks of Goosepond Community Sunday.
Mrs. Oliver Tapp and children surprised Mr. Tapp with a birthday dinner Sunday.
M/M Monroe Hodum and Mrs. Clarence Roten attended the cemetery cleaning at Ebenezer, near Brownfield Tuesday.
M/M "Boots" Null of Aurora, Ill. were weekend guests of Mrs. Dora Mathis and Bobby Null.
Judy Mathis, daughter of M/M Dalton Mathis, continues to improve, but will be unable to attend school for several weeks. Judy would appreciate cards from her friends.
M/M Howard Brooks were present at Sunday School Sunday after an absence while on vacation.
