Date: 15 Oct 2000

Looking for information on Isaac George W. Mallett who was in Alcorn Co in the town of Corinth in 1870 with his wife Matilda and children. Isaac at one time was a Baptist minister and then a hotel keeper and back to the Baptist ministry. I can't find him after the 1875-1876 directory for Corinth. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has Mallett history that might include him . Matilda was his 3rd wife and she was Matilda Nuttal when she married Isaac in 1860 in Marshall Co and it is there that he was listed as an hotel keeper. In the census just one family before him is a Nuttal family that were hotel keepers also and I believe that Matilda was probably a widow when she married Isaac and that this Nuttal family were her inlaws but this is just supposition. Please E-mail me if you want more information on this Mallett line as I don't get back to this place very often. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Florence Mallett . My e-mail is bossgma@ce! tnet.net.
