Welcome to the Attala County Photo Album. This section of the Attala County American Local History Network (ALHN) site is dedicated to the memory of all our Attala County ancestors and will include photographs of many of the county's early residents which have been graciously submitted by the descendants of these early residents.
Along with the pictures, information about the indiviual pictured will be included when it is available. At least as much information as is known of the indiviual. As you view the pictures, if you can provide additional information about the person or persons in the picture to better enlighten other researchers, please provide us with whatever information you have so that it can be made available to others that might have an interest.
Additionally, unidentified photographs will also be posted to the site so that all those with an interest in the history of Attala County and its early residents will have an opportunity to help identify the indiviuals pictured, establish the time frame in which the photograph was taken and perhaps add information about the indiviual. Who knows, you might even find a relative among those pictured. If you have a family picture of early residents or pictures of indiviuals that you cannot identify, and you would like to share this photograph with your fellow researchers, send them as a e-mail attachment to Everette Carr, Attala County Coordinator for the American Local History Network (ALHN). If you do not have the ability to send your pictures electronically and your willing to send copies by snail-mail, send me an e-mail and I will provide you with a mailing address.
