James Postelle Threadgill was married previous to his marriage to Nancy Fair. This first marriage produced a child, Alice. James and Nancy had ten children; James and Nancy are shown in this picture with six of their children, believed to have been taken about 1900.

James Postelle Threadgill and Nancy Fair Threadgill are buried in Berea Cemetery.
