MS-AHGP site Welcome to Laudderdale County MS-AHGP Lauderdale County
was formed in 1833 out of lands of the Choctaw Cession of 1833. Land records
are available from 1837. Probate records are available from 1849. Marriage
records date back as early as 1839 although most are post-1870. Court
records are available as early as 1856. Its county seat is Meridian.
Your submissions are welcome. If you have access to an
old family Bible which you would transcribe, old deeds that you would
transcribe or abstract, old diaries and letters that you would transcribe
or scan, old family photographs that you would scan and submit, or other
