Gravesite of Nell Burtrez Jones. Her Mother was Esther Demarias Smith of the Meridian area (descendant of the SMITH, HUGHES, HAYMAN, PHILLPOTS families). Burtrez and sister, Sarah Leona, lived in the Meridian area from approximately 1903-1910. Following their Mother's death in 1910, they moved to Hattiesburg to live with an Aunt.
