    Mayor John Robert Smith and Hartley Peavey, founder and CEO of Peavey Electronics, applaud with other local officials and guests after the unveiling of the Jimmie Rodgers Blues Trail marker. The marker, located in Singing Brakeman Park, pays tribute to Rodgers, known as the “Father of Country Music” and is the first Mississippi Blues Trail marker outside the Delta area.
