1831 in
Bradford Co., PA. He enlisted with the 1st Lousiana Cavalry in
1861. HE
was captured and released on March 12, 1865 in VA, but is listed
as being
admitted in Yandell Hospital at Meridian on April 1, 1865 where
he was
"furloughed and parolled". He was never heard from again by his
family.
HE may have died at Yandell. ANy info on cemetaries associated
with
Yandell Hospital or other leads would be greatly
appreciated.

the William Hurst family in Clarke Co. in 1860 and he
subsquently married
their dau Susan Hurst. Jackson's full name according to
documents of the
Civil War was Andrew Jackson Kelley and he was born in Jasper
Co., Miss.
