Jacob B. Kinard
Born: ???? Died: February 12, 1930 in Lauderdale County, MS Jacob B. Kinard, Sr., aged 80, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.E. Skinner at 4813 5th Street, Wednesday at 12:55 pm after a long illness. He is survived by four daughters; Mrs. E.E. Skinner of Meridian, Mrs. W.C. Engell of Marion, MS, Mrs. B.E. Massey of New Orleans, LA, Mrs. W.M. Hooks of Houston, Texas; five sons, C. P. Kinard of Alexandria, LA, J.F. Kinard of New Orleans, LA, J.B. Kinard, W.A. Kinard, and H.D. Kinard, all of Meridian. Funeral services will be held at the Marion Baptist Church Tuesday at 2:30 pm, Revs. T.B. McPheeters, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Gordon Ezell pastor of Forty-first Ave. Baptist Church, and Dr. S.F. Lowe of 15th Ave. Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial is to follow in the family cemetery near Marion. |
