Services for Lessie B. Plowman will be held Wednesday at 1:30 pm at James F. Webb’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Plowman, 92, of Meridian, died Nov. 6, 2002 at Benchmark Health Care Center. She was a homemaker, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. It was the highlight of her day and her life to be with her family and friends. Survivors include her sister, Bernice Strickland of Brandon; her daughter; Helen Schiederer of Anaheim CA; 3 granddaughters, Debbie Powell and her husband, William, Susan Riley and Karon Espey, all of Meridian: a grandson Michael Dwyer III of St Louis MO; a special nephew, Nick Strickland and his wife Bobbie Jean, of Brandon; 2 special nieces, Jo Ann Lasser and her husband Sherman, of St. Louis, MO. And Gerri Edwards and her husband Bobby of Toomsuba; several great grandchildren, great nieces, nephews, and cousins; 2 very special life-long friends, Lois Adams of Meridian, and Pat Williamson of Clinton; and several good friends. She was preceded by death by her husband, James Henry “Buster” Plowman; 2 daughters, Patricia Ann Suttles, and Sue Dwyer, a brother Clyde Nicholson, a sister, Vernie Wiltcher; her parents Andrew and Ella Nicholson and Annie James Nicholson.
