May Stinson Yarbrough
Born: July 24, 1884 Died: October 21, 1967 Mrs. Mae Stinson Yarbrough, 83, died Tuesday, October 21, at the Green County Hospital suffering from a broken hip. A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of the Baptist Church. Services were held Wednesday at the McClain Hays Chapel with interment following in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Roy Collum was in charge of the services. She was survived by sons: John Yarbrough, Jr., Meridian, Billy Yarbrough, Leaksville, Charles R. Yarbrough, San Antonio, TX; Daughters: Mrs. Guy Yates, Leadesville, and Mrs. Keith Williams, of East End, NC; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. Mattie B. Reed of Utica and Mrs. Effie Giles of Meridian. Pallbearers: J.C. Whitehead, Buddy Slaughter, Richard Molpus, and Dee Posey. |
