    At a circuit court began and held for the county of Tishomingo at John Rives on the first monday of September (5th) 1836 his Honor F.M. Huling presiding, William B. Owens the Sheriff of said county and State of Mississippi returned into court the following venire of jurors which has been summoned by him as jurors to attend said court:

    The grand jury returned into open court nine true bill of indictment against: Hardy Kelly & Elizabeth Shielton for adultery and fornication; William Rowsey & Michael Kizer affray (fighting); B. Hancock assault & battery; John Redden assault & battery; Lydal B.Ester assault & battery; James Patton & Janie Lamb adultery; Jesse Baker & Polly Oneley adultery; Oventon Pile & Lotty Robertson adultery; B. Flanagan & I.Farris affray (fighting).
