At a circuit court began and held for the county of Tishomingo at John Rives on the first monday of September (5th) 1836 his Honor F.M. Huling presiding, William B. Owens the Sheriff of said county and State of Mississippi returned into court the following venire of jurors which has been summoned by him as jurors to attend said court:

out of which said jurors the following named persons were elected,

were sworn to inquire for the body of Tishomingo County State of Mississippi. Allen Kemp appointed by the court foreman of the Grand Jury

The grand jury returned into open court nine true bill of indictment against: Hardy Kelly & Elizabeth Shielton for adultery and fornication; William Rowsey & Michael Kizer affray (fighting); B. Hancock assault & battery; John Redden assault & battery; Lydal B.Ester assault & battery; James Patton & Janie Lamb adultery; Jesse Baker & Polly Oneley adultery; Oventon Pile & Lotty Robertson adultery; B. Flanagan & I.Farris affray (fighting).

The State of Mississippi of Tishomingo County This day came we A.H. Weir and Stephen Gibbs, Sheriff and John Reeves, Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County and in open court proceeded to draw the following names of Jurors for the April term of the Circuit Court of said County this 5th day of February 1844.

The above jurors were drawn in my presence?.

This day the clerk and Sheriff provided in open court to draw a jury to serve the next term of this court when the following persons were drawn to serve the first week thereof to wit.

And the following persons were drawn to serve for the second week of said

And it is ordered by the court that a wit of venire? Facias? ???? to the Sheriff commanding him to summon said persons to serve accordingly.

Ordered that court adjourn until the next term. Hugh R. Miller, Judge Presiding.

Wednesday, March 24th, 1852, court met on this day the clerk and Sheriff provided in open court to draw a jury for the next term when the following persons were drawn to serve for the first week of said term to wit:

It is ordered by the court that a wit of venice facias ? commanding the Sheriff to summon said persons to serve accordingly.

It is ordered by the court that Thursday of the first week of the next term be set for the trial of state cases.
