Ordered by the Court that they receive as a donation to the County Sixty acres of land donated by A. Barton bounds as follows to wit: beginning on a pine & pine & blackjack pointers 60 pole North and 80 pole East of the South corner of Section 2 Range 8 ____ East thence North 98 pole to a postoak &postoak & redoak pointers. Thence East 98 pole to a stake & postoak & blackjack and pine pointers. Thence South 98 pole to a maple & maple & willow pointers thence West 98 pole to the beginning Surveyed the 20th day of Aug. 1836 by Benjamin Sanders.

Ordered by the police Court of said County that the County Cite of said County be named Cincinnati and that Sales of the Lots of said Town commence on the 11 day of October 1836 & continue from day to day untill all are sold or stoped by order of said Court, on a credit of one and two years and John Reeves & John Duncan be appointed to draft a plan of said town. Ordered by the Court that the following persons be appointed to work & review a road from said County Cite the nearest and best way on the direction to Memphis so as to pass through the Town of Ripley as far as said County Line as follows, James Mackey, Caleb Lindsey, Abner Garrsen, Hiram Baker, Simon R. Knight, David Walker & Frances Kizer & for caring this into effect meet on the 18 day of August & make return of the same at the house of John Reeves on the last Monday of August and that the Clerk of said Court send a Certified Copy of the order to the Police of Tipper County.

Ordered by the Court that Francis Kizer be appointed overseer to open & cut a Road from Rodens Creek as far as where a road Leading from James Mackeys to Pontotoc Crosses. Said review:

Ordered by the Court that James Mackey be appointed overseer to open & cut a road commencing where a road Leading from said Mackeys to Pontotoc Crosses said review made by said Mackey and others and open & cut said road as far as said County Line and have the following hands James Hodges, Hiram Baker, Abner Garrsen, John Robertson, James Baker, Hezekiah Sims, Caleb Lindsey, John Nevels, Hurbbart Robertson, Hervey Winters. Ordered by the Court that the Following person be appointed as a Jury of review to mark & review a road Leading from Cincinnati the County Cite of said County the nearest and best way to the eligibility point on the Tennessee river having in view the publick utility resulting from said road a to wit: John Oneal, J.M. Criner, Jesse Barns, Riley Cowen, John Wynn, Nathan Jobe, Samuel Dancer, Hiram Fort**er & John Whitcheten and to meet on the 15 day of Sept. 1836 for the purpose of carrying thier order into effect & make returnes of the same to the Clerk of said Court given under my hand and seal this 29th day of Aug 1836 Wm. Know all men by these present that John Nevels of said County has come foreward on this day and had his stock mark recorded in said register office as follows to wit: a crop & Slit in each ear given under my hand and seal at office this 24th day of December 1836 John Reeves C P C.

Know all men by these present that Samuel Dancer of said County has come foreward on this day and has had his stock mark recorded in the register office of said County as follows A swallow fork and under bit in each ear. Piles, Layburn Kelly be appointed a jury of review to mark and review a road leading from Cincinnati the County Site of said County the nearest and best way to the white house of the widow Chambers & to carry this order into effect meet on the 15 day of Sept 1836 and make return of the same to Clerk of said Court so soon as completed given under my hand and seal this 29 day of Aug 1836. Johnston, Foster Oneal, Abram Baker, Gregrory Johnston be appointed a jury of review lay out a road commencing where the review from Pontotoc Stricks said County Line is at the S W Corner of said County and continue said review to Cincinnati the County Site of said County & to carry this order into effect meet at said Pontotoc review the 15 day of December & make return of the same so soon as completed to the Clerk of said given under my hand and seal this 30 day of Aug 1836. Ordered by the Court that Major Farris, Thomas Pate, Joseph Watts, Davidson Farris, Herry Backenstaff, Wm. Cowen, John Grinder, Joseph Philips, John Bill, be appointed a jury of review to lay out & mark a road from Cincinnati the County Site of said County the nearer and best way to the Allabamma Line on a direction to Tuscumbia & to carry this order into effect meet at the County Site on the 15 day of Sept. 1836 & make return of the same to the Clerk of said Court So soon as completed given under my hand and seal this the 30 day of Aug 1836. The Honorable Police Court met according to adjournment present Wm. Graham, John Duncan, David Brewton, John Swain, J.N. Alstadt the Court then proceeded to make sale of the lots of the County Site of said County agreeable to the advertisements S. O. Gibbs Foremen Continues the Sale two days Ordered by the Court that for the future that name of the County Site of said County be Jacinto in place of Cincinnati the Court them proceeded to Letting out the Building of a Bridge & Cross______ bid of Hatchey at the Lowest bidden which was bid by Morris & others at $70 also let out the Building of a Court House at the same time and place which was bid of at $ 199.00 by Caleb Lindsey as a County Charge the was engage ? day The Court then adjourn untill Court in ______ given under my hand & seal this 15 of Oct 1836 Wm. Proceeded to business a return of the Pontotoc review was handed by the clerk of said reported road found agreeable said order also return made of a review to the White a road found agreeable to and order issued by said Court also review return to Tennessee river.
