It being made appear to the Board that the Legislature of this State has passed an act which has become a law. Authorizing the appointment of Two Judges or Inspectors of Elections for each Election Precinct instead of Three as hereto for pointed.

It is therefore ordered by The Board that the order of this Board made at the last December Term appointing Judges or Inspectors of election for Auditor of Police accounts in this County be and the same is hereby revoked.

It is now further ordered by the Board that Judges or Inspectors of Said Election to be held for Auditor of Public Accounts of this State on the 10th day of Feby. 1862 be appointed for the Several Election Precincts of this County as follows to wit:

It is ordered by the Board that R. A. Hill Treasure & Secy of the Board f School Commissioners be allow for his service of One Hundred and Twelve & 50/100 dollars & that warrant issue.

It is ordered by the Board that Commissioners and Sub Commissioners who have been engaged in procuring and distributing supplies for families of absent Soldiers in the County be allowed for their time & trouble as such up to the present time as follows to wit:

Milford $ 3 - Warrants to be issued on account of Military releif fond.

It is ordered by the Board that an additional appropriation of $ 3 be allowed to Mrs. Robt. Hicks wife of absent Soldier for Support for 3 mos from Jany 1st 1862.

It is ordered by the Board that E. W. Carmack Clerk of this Court be allowed $ 25 for extra service on account of warrants in behalf of families of absent Soldiers including business arising in the present term of Court for which warrants may issue.

It is ordered by the Board that Commissioners be appointed in this County to obtain & report to this Court at the next term thereof on the 1st Monday in Feby 1862 the Number of Soldiers resident in this County now in the Service of The Confederate States of America or who have died in said Service or retired the same and the Service of this State as such Volunteers as provided by the Act of the present Legislature of this State approved blank day of December 1861 as follows to wit:

For 3ed Police District H. A. Nance
For 4th Police District M. Bailey

It is ordered by the Board that Grand Jurors for March Term 1862 of Circuit Court for this county be appointed as follows to wit;

Police Dist. No.2 - John Henson, Jas. H. Stiger. E. J. Wright & J. T. Cavaness?
Police Dist. No.3 - J. C. Reed (Rud), David M. Allen, W. J. Yates, Benj. Pitts
Police Dist. No.4 - D. G. Pardew, E. McCalla, W. B. Dean, J. W. Barnett
Police Dist. No.5 - B. D. Gresham, G. H. Phillips, G. C. Hubbard, Tho. W. Walker

It is ordered by the Board that Special elections for Justice of the Peace in the 13th & 7th Justice Districts of this County be advertised & held according to law at the different Precincts of said Districts to fill the Vacancies accruing by the resignations of J. P. Gray & W. S. McClung and that commissioners be appointed to advertise & hold said elections as follows to wit :

For the 13th Justice District Precinct at Burnsville, J. V. Hardwick, H. M. Cobb, G. W. Smith,.
For the 7th Justice District Precinct at Scott's Mill , W. A. Russell, E. McCalla, & Jno. Byrum
Precinct at Barnes Store Wm. Mathews, John McDougal, L. B. Loony.

It is ordered by the Board that James Gaines County Treasure be allowed the sum of Four Hundred dollars for the year 1861 & that warrant issue for same.

Burnsville & Sulpher Springs Road width 16 feet,

It is ordered by the Board that John Blakeny be appointed overseer on the above named road for the year 1862 from Burnsville to Nashoba Road. hands- Wm. Filder & sons, Jno. Pinkston, Henry Blakney, Moses Smith the Isom boys & all others within bounds not otherwise listed.

It is ordered by the Board that the Pontotoc Road be changed as to have the old Pontotoc Road at Beard's old place and intersect the Young's Fulton Road at C. C. Hare's on the route now opened and that the overseer keep up same as so changed with the hands under him in accordance with Petition of C.C. Hare & others on file here.

It is ordered by the Board that C. R. Duncan, Benj. Piles? & C. C. Hare be appointed Commissioners to let out & Supervised the building of a Bridge Across Big Brown Creek on the Shackleford Road near the Mill of C. C. Hare & that the Sum of $ 20 be appropriated out of the County Treasury for same upon reception & confirmation of Report of Commissioners aforesaid.

It is ordered by the Board that J. W. Forrest be appointed overseer of Roads within the corporate limits of the town of Farmington . Hands within said Limits.

It is ordered by the Board that J. J. Reynolds be allowed $ 4 out of Military Relief Fund for Provisions furnished families for absent Soldiers as for acct. rendered.

It is ordered by the Board that the Report of Commissions for Bridge across Kizer's Creek on the Pontotoc Road be received & approved. It is further ordered by the Board that W. B. Payne be allowed $ 25 out of County Treasury for said work and that warrant issue.

It is ordered by the Board that L. L. Brown be allowed Ten & 75/100 ( $10.75) for provisions furnished of absent Soldiers as pr account rendered.

Baldwin & Booneville Road - width 16 feet

It is ordered by the Board that overseers be appointed and hands listed on the above named road for the year 1862 as follow to wit: From Baldwin to A. G. Williams - Overseer - James Jenkins Hands- same as heretofore

It is ordered by the Board that overseers be appointed and hands listed on the above named road for the year 1862 as follows to wit:

From Kossuth to North East end of Turnpike Overseer- F. Allen Hands- F. Allen's hands, G**. Allen's hands, Richard Allen & hands, Robt. Wear & hands, E. J. Wright & hands, Wm. Hargroves & hands, A. It is ordered by the Board that members & officers of this Court be allowed for 4? days ( could not make out the number of days for sure) and mileage at the present Term of Court as follows to wit ; J. M. Curlee $18.90, J. R. Martin $20.00, J. C. Lambert $19.50, W. U. Robinson $16.60, Wm. Walker $18.60, E. W. Carmack $ 18, J. G. Barton $12, & that warrant.

Court then adjourned until 1st Monday in Feby 1862

By the President of the Board of Police in Vacation It is ordered that Tho. Morrison be appointed overseer on the Lagrange Road for the year 1862 from Danville to S. K. Morrison's instead of O. A. Gorden appointed at the Jany Term 1862. Hands- David Settle's hands, J. B. Stafferd's hands, S. K. Morrison's hands, & all others within bounds not other wise listed. Ordered this Jany 21st 1862.
