Be it remembered that there was by and held at the Courthouse in the town of Jacinto on the 2nd. Monday in May 1840 being the 11th day of said month a cession of the Board of Police for said County. Proclamations was made as the members is and then in present the Hon. John C.Carter President of the Board and Robert H. Hicks, Wright Bond, James H. Robertson and John Langley members thereof.
Issued - It is ordered by the Board that Joshua L. Pope be allowed the sum of five dollars for killing and destroying one wolf in Tishomingo County out of any moneys in the County Treasury not otherwise appropriated and that he have his warrant.
Issued - It is ordered by the Board that David D. Parker be allowed the sum of ten dollars for killing and destroying two wolves in Tishomingo County out of any moneys in the County Treasury not otherwise appropriated and that he have his warrant.
