Hi, I am looking for information on Zephania H. WOODALL b.1792 Lavina Vest WOODALL, who lived in Tishmingo Co. Both were born in Ga. Zephania fought in the war of 1812, and on his pension application ,dated 1872 he was living in Tishmingo Co. and was 80 year s old. and we have found that his wife is buried there. Am seeking for decendents of William and Margaret 'Peggy' (Headrick) Cornelison. I am trying to find any informaiton regarding my Great, Great Grandfather, Judge John F. Arnold who lived in Tishomingo County approx. 1840 until approx. 1880 when he left with his wife, Julia Fields and their children, Robert Fredrick Arnold, Melvin M. Arno ld, H.G. Arnold, Judine Arnold, and Nina Arnold, to go practice law in the Texas Federal Courts. Their son, Robert F. Arnold married in 1855 to Catherine Taylor, daughter of Calvin A. Taylor (also of Tishomingo County). I am would like to know who Judge Arno ld's parents and siblings are. I know that he was born in Abbeville, SC in 1826 and that he moved to Mississippi as a young boy. It as said that he had "grown to manhood" in Mississippi. Any information would be appreciated. |
