HAMMONS'HAMMAN I would like information on Hammons/Hamman. I found where some Hammons owned slaves in 1860 in Tishomingo county, from the info I have Phillip Hamman and family is buried on his plantion at Union MS. that later became a community cemetery. Hello, I am searching for some information/family history on my maternal grandmother. Her name was Carrie Alexander-Martin(born in late 1890's). She was colored and married to Wardie Martin. I know that she was the daughter of Joe & Bettie Alexander, but I don't know anything about either of them. They all lived and grew up in Tishomingo. I am looking for any information about my grandmother Jessie Ann Corsbie Walker, married to JR (James Robert) also called Jim Walker. I would like to locate any descendants of a Elias BEAUCHAMP who was living in your area in 1860 . He and his family were listed on the 1860 Tishomingo Co. census as follows: Elias Beauchamp 28, wife Mary age 28, dau Jermetha age 8, son Wm H age 6, Nathan age 4 and Angeline age 2. I believe Elias was a brother to my gr-grandfather, Sebron Jackson Beauchamp. In 1880 a 24 year old Nathan T Beauchamp was living next door to Sebron in Howard County AR. In his household was his mother, Mary age 48, a sister aged 21 and a brother John P aged 17. Their mother was Victoria Adelaide Bradberry, born in Corinth on 2-19-1858. She married James Whitsitt Jordan 1-9-1879.
